Detailed Itinerary

Day 13th  June 2021: Pick up from Entebbe International airport
Upon arrival, you will be met by our Ugandan guide who will transfer you to your accommodation for an overnight

Day 14th  June 2021: Transfer to Kibale National Park & guided Nature walk.
You will early in the morning, start journey to kibale forest branded the” primates capital of Uganda” through the eye catching scenery and tea plantations.

You will have many chances of spotting some of the 13 primates of Uganda in one place on addition to beautiful butterflies and unique bird species of kibale forest.

On arrival to the destination, you will go for evening guided nature walk in Bigodi sanctuary to polish your day with authentic village encounter, you will be able to spot some unique bird species, monkeys, plant species among others.

Day 15th June 2021: Chimpanzee tracking & transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.   
After early morning breakfast, with packed lunch you will be transferred to kanyanchu park headquarters for a unique activity and have a briefing at around 8:00 am where chimp tracking trail head begins.

After briefing you will start real interaction with nature with many chances of  spotting other primates species apart from Chimpanzee like L.Hoest monkey, Grey cheeked mangabeys, blue monkey among others.
On return from the chimp tracking, you will be transferred to Queen Elizabeth National Park for an overnight and dinner.

Day 16th June 2021: Game drive and Boat cruise.
After early morning breakfast, you will drive to kasenyi plains which boosts several wild animals species.
On good day, you may spot several herds of buffaloes, elephants, antelopes, warthogs and big cats like lions and leopards hunting.

You return to the lodge for lunch and there afterwards drive to Mweya peninsula for 2 hour boat cruise on kazinga channel which joins lake George and Edward, the channel with a highest concentration of hippos in the whole world.

Day 17th  June 2021:  Visit Salt Lakes Katwe and Bunyampaka &  Ishasha tree Climbing Lions.
Lake katwe  and lake Bunyampaka were important traditional sources of salt mining for Toro and Bunyoro kingdoms, not much has changed in recent decades, wildlife and man still co-exists as it has since Stone age.
Here you learn salt mining process being guided by local salt miners from the first stage to last stage and the use of local salt in Uganda.

You will later drive to the southern sector of the park in Ishasha a place well known for tree climbing lions and topis. When lucky you spot lions resting in fig trees sheltering from sunshine.
The sector was named after ishasha river a hippo filled waterway that forms the border-line between Dr. Congo and Uganda as it flows North to lake Edward.

You will later be transferred to lodge sector for an overnight and Dinner.

Day 18th June 2021:  Gorilla tracking & Canoeing
After early morning breakfast, your guide will drive you to Ruhija sector park headquarters where you will track mountain Gorillas.

You will be briefed about dos and don'ts while you are with mountain Gorillas as way to practice Covid19 SOPS.
The trek can last for 30 minutes to 7 hours depending on the location of mountain gorilla family on that particular day. Once you find the Gorillas, you will be allowed  to spend only one hour  with them while observing their feeding behavior, taking photographs before you return to  the park headquarters for your certificate of confirmation that you tracked mountain Gorillas of Rushaga sector in Uganda.

After Gorilla tracking, you will drive to lake Bunyonyi a lake of many littles birds and has 29 islands as well, you will do canoeing around some of the islands  some of which has a unique cultural history.
Or stay at a lake overlooking Lake Mutanda for similar experience.
Lake Mutanda is a volcanic crater lake with significant islands with Rich cultural history on foothills of virunga volcanoes.

Day 19th June 2021:  Transfer to Entebbe airport via Kampala capital City
After early morning breakfast, you will have a long journey which will involve passing through countryside towns of Western Uganda and you will have many stopovers to stretch your legs and buy some fruits like pineapples and yellow bananas.
You will have a major stopover at the Uganda Equator an imaginary line which divides Africa into Northern and Southern hemisphere. You will have Equator experience before you proceed to Kampala

Day 20th  June 2021: Transfer from Lodge to the Airport.
You will transferred  from the lodge to Entebbe International Airport for your flight back home. Good bye Uganda the Pearl of Africa.
